Needless to say I was traumatized, and never considered coloring my hair again, Until Now!! There are some great YouTube vids on how the girls are applying it. There are also a few different brands, but I chose this particular one because of the "red" color and the ingredients. This is an herbal based hair wax with licorice root, tea tree extract, and castor oil which are all excellent herbs for hair health. So not only do you get the hair color, there's many benefits for your hair as well. Moreover, it's a great styler making my curls really pop! Some brands sell the wax without color just for those who would like to use it as a styling cream only. Each jar is priced at $14.99 but they seem to frequently have sales and I got it for $5.99. I've done one application so far and on my hair (which is shoulder length) and I can easily get a second application out of it. Thus far, I have been LOVING IT! So grateful that I can enjoy some new color in my hair!
Now if you're wondering if it bleeds the answer is yes. I get residue on my hands after I style, and have been wearing a bonnet to bed to save my pillow cases. However!! I have to admit that I watched a YouTube video where a girl gave specific instructions NOT to moisturize your hair before applying the wax. But I didn't listen at all. I was so worried about my hair not being moisturized that I used a leave-in conditioner and butter. So I think that the oil prevented the wax from completely drying onto my hair. So on my next application I will follow her advice LOL and probably update this article. So overall, I'm loving this wax. Once the red wears off Ill try the Gold color. Cant wait!

Since the day I started this blog page I knew that the name Acoopdeville was not the permanent name I wanted for the blog, but I didn't want a lack of a title to prevent me from starting one. So after a couple years the name Metaphysical Angel finally came to me. It fits perfectly with the theme of this site: Healing the body with food and herbs , natural beauty care tips, travel etc. I hope you all continue to enjoy the articles!
